Trick or Treat Fun!

Hey Everyone!
Tonight was Morgan and Drews 1st trick or treat! Morgan had a blast, let me tell you this child is not shy! She ran from door to door saying trick or treat. She even went up to knock on doors all by herself! After it started to get a bit chilly we came back and she helped pass out candy to the other kids. We wrapped it up by having some very spicy chili and corn bread!

Happy Halloween

Hey everyone!
Happy Halloween! What a beautiful perfect fall day! On my spiritual path, today is the day we remember our ancestors and beloved dead. I would like to say a few words about my grandma. She passed less than a year ago, but it seems like soo long! The last time we talked about Halloween she told me that it had always snowed by the time it was trick or treating time. Sometimes they had to walk through quite a bit of snow when she was young. Ahhh global climate change its now 60 and sunny instead of freezing and cold...maybe there or some perks...just kidding! Anyhow Mommies I miss you terribly,I miss seeing your face, I miss doing your nails, bringing you flowers and playing rummy with you! Today we went to Bob Evans with some friends and I thought of you since Bobs was one of your favorite places! Thank you for watching over Morgan and Drew. I know when you are around, Morgan usually tells me BG!
If you have a minute today think of those that have gone before us, led beautiful lives and made ours better.

Its my Birthday!!

Well I was going to write something meaningful today, but after over a week of very little sleep with 2 sick babies its just not flowin. Anyway... Im 34 woohoo! Worked hard to get here and wouldnt pay to go back!! Shane said Morgan picked out my card by herself for the 1st time! Its too cute, complete with Mickey Mouse. I got a new book called Best Friends..anyone read or heard of it? Looks like it will be good. Also got a yummy pumpkin spice candle, I love that scent.
My promise to myself for this next year is to dechunkify. Here goes!!

Oh my God she has a big girl room!!

Yikes, my baby isnt a baby so much anymore. I was rocking Drew to sleep, back in the original baby room. The room that Morgan has spent the last 3 years in. This room that we decorated with so much anticipation of the new baby to come. I remember being over my due date just dying to see what she looked like. I would sit in the rocker and just imagine what it would be like to hold her and her and just see her little face. Now I hold her and its just enough time to give my littlel fireball a quick kiss before she is off and running again. In the past 3 years she has become such an amazing little person. I cant imagine what the next 3 years will bring...

On one last note, my cute little love bug Drew blurted out Mama!!! How exciting we get to hear new words all over again!!!

The Princess Pad

Morgan's Princess Paradise!

Hey everyone! Today is a big day for Morgan. Not only is she switching rooms to the middle bedroom, she is also getting a big girl bed! She told me awhile ago that she was tired of pooh bear and wanted something else. So we trekked over to Target to find a new quilt. While I'm pointing out the cute butterfly pattern she's way excited to see the princess quilt. So I figure its not my room, right... So we went with princess decor:) Needless to say she is so excited! Cant wait for those furniture people to get here! I cant believe she is already out of here toddler bed, time is going soo fast...

Miss Morgan turned 3

I know this is back tracking a bit, but I know not eveyrone got to see her b-day party pics! She had tons of fun, Cant believe my baby girl is 3...WOW

Rainy Day Tuesday

Hey Everyone! Well the kids are snoozin so I thought I would catch everyone up.
Drew is getting his top teeth! One has broken through and the other is about to. Needless to say he is a chewing machine, and not so sleepy! He is a little munch-o- matic though, he loves to eat and he has to do it himself-too cute. His favorite so far is sweet potatoes and peas. This week Morgan gets her ribbon for finishing her 1st ever tumble tykes gym class. She was supposed to go today but she has a bit of a cold. So we will be catching up on Saturday. My dad got some good pics of her tumbling around so as soon as I get those you guys will see them! She loves to tumble around. Shes quite the monkey.
The trees here have been so pretty, we finally got real fall weather instead of feeling like we were in the midst of August.
I am excited to say that I got my 1st hour out without kids in 9 months!!! WOO HOO. I actually ate dinner and had a margarita without a child on my lap. It was refreshing! Its amazing what one hour and great adult conversation can do for you. Drews awake, gotta run....

Trip to Colorado to see Mary!

I was so lucky to be able to go and visit my sis!! I miss her tons and we had a great time.
Drew Boo came with me and he did great. The Mountains were incredible and the Aspens were all changing.
The wind was so strong b/c it was starting to snow in the mountains. I got to go to Marys work. And meet all her clients!
Mary is truly amazing for working with the groups of people that she does.
Cant wait to see her over the holidays!

Pumpkin Patch

Pigeon Roost Farm, what a blast!!! Morgan and Drew loved it and we had a perfect fall day. Morgan loved the slide and the rocking horses.They had all kids of animals there goats, chicks, a donkey and they had a huge camel named Joe:)
Morgan said she wanted a ride next time!!

Cosi..bob the builder

Ok Morgan LOVES tools and Bob the Builder books. So when she saw that he was going to be at COSI she was ultra pumped.
She was too scared of Bob the Builder to go give him a high five, but had fun playing with all the stuff they had their.
Drew loved the kidsspace water table, good times for everyone!!
